Red Bloodwood is a high density hardwood that shows interesting gum vein features, which combined with its tight interlocking grain makes it a species that is sort after. The colour can range from a dark pink to dark red colour. It is mainly used for round timber applications such as poles, piles, fencing and posts, however due to its attractive grain pattern, and striking colour, bloodwood is also used for flooring, veneers and decorative internal panelling.
